Kyoto Chic - Gion, Geisha, Maiko photo magazine -

■ In response to demand from regular readers, the popular Kyoto-focused articles regularly featured in the ANA in-flight magazine “Tsubasa no Oukoku” are now available as an iPad app

■ The accompanying photographs will transport you to the streets of Gion, and offer you an intimate glimpse of maiko as they entertain in the area’s o-chaya

The Japanese version of Kyoto Chic is an ongoing series of brief articles focusing on the traditions of Kyoto’s hanamachi which has been published in the ANA group’s in-flight magazine “Tsubasa no Oukoku” since April 2007, to the delight of ANA’s passengers and subscribers to the magazine. In response to demand from the many fans of the articles, we are now introducing Kyoto Chic to the 21st century.
